Alan Blunden About the Author Retired, living in Bishops Stortford. Currently writing a novel based loosely around the experiences of my grandmother and mother and set in the early twentieth century to the present day. I help at my local primary school with reading during the literacy hour. I belong to a Shakespeare appreciation group,also The Harlow Writers Workshop: winners of the National Association of Writers' Groups first prize for their 2009 anthology,'Worlds within Words' in which I have had poetry and a short story published
