Linda Baxter

About the Author I gave up teaching Modern Languages in order to write, but suffered a subarachnoid haemorrhage which damaged the language centre of my brain. I had to relearn my mother tongue, which took years, and my speech is still not as competent as I would like. Writing is very important, as I can express myself reasonably well on paper or the screen. When my son Timo was murdered writing became a release valve for my grief, pain and anger, and I wrote my book 'Losing Timo'. Subsequently I turned to writing about pre-Timo times.
