About the Author Retired accountant (yawn!!) now turned writer. A few years ago I sustained a broken neck and there was doubt as to whether I would walk again. However, I was one of the few people who walked out of a spinal unit albeit on two crutches and so slowly that I got caught in the automatic doors. The experience made me rethink and even although I had believed that as a ‘numbers’ person I couldn’t be creative, I signed up for a writing course. I now live with my husband on a small Greek island; I have almost finished my first novel and have had some success with short story writing.
