Mike Yarrow About the Author Born in 1940, educated to A level in maths & science, then to HNC in chemistry, which was my teenage passion. I worked for 42 years in the chemical industry initially as a technologist, for the final 29 years as a Health and Safety Advisor. After retirement I worked another 8 years as a part time H&S consultant. Currently I lead a small Christian congregation in Harlow, enjoying teaching the Christian faith and the Bible. I am involved with the Harlow Writers' Workshop and the Harlow Seniors' Photography Club (see their website for some of my pictures). I am a scientist who believes in creation. My reading is mostly biblical and church writing, a bit of poetry and Scifi (preferably pre 1970). I have been happily married since 1963, have one son and two grandsons. Published info: I have one childhood story in Rob Horlock's collection "How was it for you? Memories of the 1940s" ISBN 1-58832-128-2 See also www.20thcenturymemories.com |
